Jibing — step by step

What is a jibe?

Jibing: turn the nose away from the wind until the tail passes through it and the sail flips over.
Beginners again step around the front of the mast.

Bear away first

Rake forward and sheet out until you are nearly running (over 150°).
Bend your knees and stay balanced.

Jibe!

When running and the Jibe button lights up, press it (or J).
After the sail flips, rake back to head up to a beam reach, then sheet in.
